The MOMS Club® of Grand Haven, MI (MOMS Offering Moms Support®) is a non-profit chapter of the International MOMS Club® organization. We seek to bring community, socialization and support to all moms in and around the Tri-Cities area (Grand Haven, Ferrysburg, Nunica, Spring Lake, Norton Shores and Fruitport) through weekly free or low cost events. Most of our events are held Monday through Friday 9-5PM.

I don’t live in Grand Haven, Ferrysburg, Nunica, Spring Lake, Norton Shores or Fruitport. Can I join MOMS Club® of Grand Haven?
MOMS Club® International sets boundaries for each individual chapter for a few reasons. First, as the children get to know each other while they are growing up, many of them will end up attending the same school when they live nearby to each other. Second, from a practical standpoint, it is more convenient for meetings, playgroups, and other gatherings that members all live within a few miles of each other. If you live outside of the areas noted above, please contact MOMS Club® International to be connected with a MOMS Club® in your community.
I work full-time, but I’d like to meet other moms. Can I join?
All mothers are welcome to join, though the schedule of activities and events cater to stay-at-home and part-time-working moms. That is, almost all MOMS Club® playgroups and events take place on weekdays, generally between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
What ages are your kids?
Our kids range in age from newborn to teenagers. However, the majority of our activities are geared toward kids who are newborn to five years old.
My child is just a few months old. Is it worth it for me to join now, or should I wait till s/he is older and can participate in the activities?
Whether your child is a newborn, six months old, or six years old, you need support. Weekly playgroups are one way to meet other moms with young children. So we encourage you to join so that you can socialize for yourself – that’s what new moms need!
Can my children come to everything with me?
Yes, you can bring your children to everything except for Moms’ Night Out (nursing infants are always welcome).
How much will the MOMS Club cost me?
You do not need to spend any money besides your annual dues of $20, unless you choose to. Most events are free. Some field trips and mom’s nights out may cost additional funds, but we try to keep them reasonable. In addition, you may choose to bring snacks or a potluck dish to some events, or donate supplies to a party, and the cost of those are up to you.
What do my dues pay for?
We pay the International MOMS Club $2 per member each year to maintain our charter. In addition, your dues pay for other incidental expenses, supplies, stamps, etc. Since we are a non-profit group, we can spend very little on parties, etc. and thus must rely on our membership to donate the time and supplies to make our gatherings work. We also donate to local non-profit organizations.
Who is in charge of the club?
The club is run by a volunteer executive board comprised of five positions, each with specific roles to help the club run smoothly. All members are welcome and encouraged to run for the board. Elections are held in June. Our local chapter is overseen by the International MOMS Club®, which provides support and guidance to our club.
Why is the ‘MOMS’ in MOMS Club capitalized?
MOMS stands for Moms Offering Moms Support.
